* THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL SESSION RUN VIA ZOOM *

For our September ASC Sydney Circle event we are welcoming Ali Taylor, Co-Founder and CEO of award-winning registered mental health music charity Listen Up Music, for an invaluable presentation on ‘Mental Health for Musos’.

Learn about their music-focused events and education that support and promote positive mental health, including The Songwriting Prize, Torch Fest and Where Words Fail podcast.

Bring your questions for the Q&A segment!

Ali will also listen to up to ten songs and give feedback within the framework of the judging process for The Songwriting Prize – where production levels don’t matter at all, it’s about the songwriting craft with a specific focus on melody, lyrics, and arrangement.

The order for the listening session will be based on a formal registration process, which will open to the public in the first week of September, but advance notice will be given to those on our email list.

Songs must be submitted before 5pm AEST (Sydney time) Wednesday 15th September or until a max of 10 songs in total.

Attendance is free for members and $15 for non-members after two free ASC Circle visits as guests.

NB: The audio and/or visual recording by an attendee by any means (including photos and screen shots) during this zoom session is strictly prohibited. This event will however be recorded by the ASC Sydney Circle and may be added to the Members Lounge section of the ASC website.

Join us to develop your skills in the craft and business of songwriting, network and collaborate with other members, and be involved in this supportive and cherished songwriting community.
