Showcases

Attendee Showcases

One of the features of the ASC are the nightly showcases where attendees have the opportunity to perform their original material to Faculty, attendees and the public.

Even non-performing songwriters get to share their work, by getting up and performing to the supportive crowd, or by collaborating with other attendees or faculty to sing or play their songs for them.  The Faculty love to attend so they can get first pick at great songs and artists. Sometimes they even get up and sing a hit or two!  Imagine if you'd been at ASC2009 jamming on the stage with Andrew Farriss from INXS! Or if you'd attended ASC2010 and been one of the first people to hear Karise Eden sing her original songs - before she hit the big time on season 1 of The Voice Australia.  Though informal and fun, the showcases are a great networking and scouting opportunity, so we encourage all 'ASCers' to get involved.
