Over the years, Moccio has penned songs for superstars Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Avril Lavigne, Seal, James Blunt, and Ne-Yo, landing seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 on the strength of his undeniably original and deeply resonant melodies.
What does it take to be a successful songwriter, producer or artist? Is it a 'good start' in life, talent, hard work or luck? This is one of the many questions that Naomi poses to the deeply purposeful and passionate musician, whose answers are delivered as thoughtfully and delicately as his music.

I founded the Australian Songwriters Conference in 2008 with the desire to help songwriters develop their song crafting skills and gain industry knowledge so they could enjoy a career in music.
Over the years ASC has run numerous conferences and other events as well as regular workshops, online activities, and mentoring. I’m so proud of the many years of education and career development that ASC has offered to music creators.
I’ve developed some health issues in the past few years and I’m no longer able to work the many hours I used to. I’ve had to figure out a way to continue supporting songwriters and still take care of my health and well-being.
