Our songwriting community is turning 13!! We’ve been meeting every single month since October 2008, and *wow* we really have a special guest for our thirteenth birthday ASC Sydney Circle event! We are welcoming Phylicia Chong, Music Licensing Creative for Secret Road Music Services, as our guest speaker.
Learn about how Phylicia works with music supervisors, directors, producers, trailer houses, and advertising agencies to find the perfect piece of music to help realise their creative vision.
Bring your questions for the Q&A segment!
Phylicia will also listen to up to ten songs in a listening session with a difference – usually we focus more on the underlying songwriting craft, but remember that in the world of sync, production is super important and so we recommend you submit a ‘broadcast quality’ song for this session.
The order for the listening session will be based on a formal registration process that will open by the first week of October.
Songs must be submitted ahead of time as we are sending a playlist to Phylicia on Friday afternoon Sydney time, 15th October.
Attendance is free for members and $15 for non-members after two free ASC Circle visits as guests.
NB: The audio and/or visual recording by an attendee by any means (including photos and screen shots) during this zoom session is strictly prohibited. This event will however be recorded by the ASC Sydney Circle and may be added to the Members Lounge section of the ASC website.
