* NB THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL SESSION RUN VIA ZOOM *

We are so thrilled to welcome back Naomi Crain to present another custom January session designed especially for our songwriting community. This will truly be a special night to begin the year for you!

Songwriting From The Body

As we happily leave 2020 in the rear view mirror, we’ll be starting 2021 with an evening of short, body-focused songwriting activities. These will involve connecting more deeply to our 5 senses, to enrich our songwriting and exploring the “sixth songwriting sense”, kinetic sensation, as a metaphor building tool. Finally, we’ll review the things that impacted us most greatly in 2020 and our newly revived connection to our senses will help us identify how the bruises of 2020 might be converted into musical inspiration. You’ll leave the session with new song ideas flowing.

Our Presenter:
Naomi Crain is a long-standing member of the ASC Sydney Circle and a past volunteer Coordinator for over three years. She’s a singer songwriter whose two albums, Leaving Ur and Vermillion Truth, are available on Apple Music and Spotify. She’s also a life coach and avid self-helper, regularly presenting at our January meetings. Naomi’s activities are designed to help us put the year ahead into focus so we can achieve greater satisfaction, musically and personally.

We will also be holding a peer critique session in the second half of the evening.

Attendance is free for ASC Members and $15 for non-members (after two free visits as guests).
