* NB THIS WILL BE A VIRTUAL SESSION RUN VIA ZOOM *
We are so thrilled to be presenting part two of our special “All About Sync” double event featuring Tyler McLoughlan, Founder and Director of The Sound Pound, a Brisbane business specialising in music supervision and clearances, composition, and sync representation for independent music across advertising, film and TV.
Tyler has so much knowledge to share about the sync world that we couldn’t fit it into a single night!
In Part 1, back in August, Tyler covered six main topics: Copyright 101, How to get your music ready for sync, Where your music fits, Who and how to pitch, What sort of music people are looking for, Common mistakes to avoid, a generous Q&A Section, two sample briefs.
In Part 2 you have the opportunity to submit a song that you feel meets one of the sample briefs offered in Part 1, with Tyler returning to have an exclusive Listening Session and discuss the submissions.
There will also be an additional Q&A section.
Attendance is free for ASC Members and $15 for non-members (after two free Circle visits as guests).
NB: in order to submit songs for the briefs and/or ask questions during Part 2, it is a requirement that you must have either attended the Part 1 session or watched the video replay . Part 1 covered a comprehensive amount of material that we will not be able to revisit in detail during this Part 2 follow-up session.
ASC Members can watch the Part 1 video here.
Non-members can subscribe to the Part 1 video here. (Cost $15.00)
