During ASC Melbourne Circle’s November session, we’ll learn about fundamental audio setup and sound engineering concepts – which are important for anyone creating in the music space to be aware of!
Whether you’re songwriting from home, performing at live gigs or recording in studio – having a solid understanding of key principles in acoustics, hardware setup and software tools used both within industry and at home is invaluable.
Our expert facilitator, Joel Taylor of The Black Lodge Studios, will bring his decades of audio engineering experience to this very special evening, covering topics such as:
• Environment setups for optimal acoustics – at home vs gigging vs in studio
• Hardware / software tools and approaches often used by music creatives
• Basic principles of mixing and mastering audio tracks.
