PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
Online sessions are recorded for use on the Australian Songwriters Conference (ASC) website. Your participation in a session constitutes your agreement to appear on the video recording of the session.

The audio and/or visual recording of online and/or physical events by any means is strictly prohibited.

The Zoom link information you receive via email for an online session is for your personal use only.  If you would like to invite anyone to an ASC online event please send them to the booking form so they can register. Only registered participants will be given entry to the Zoom sessions.

LICENCE AGREEMENT
The short version: You grant royalty-free permission for your songs to be played in the virtual/online Song Pitch, Song Critique or Listening Session and for the video recording of the session to appear on the ASC website for members and visitors to watch (but not download or use for any other purpose without your permission).

The long version:  By playing live or recorded tracks of your copyrighted works (music compositions and/or lyrics) during this webcast session, you grant to the Australian Songwriters Conference a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for those works to be performed, displayed and recorded in connection with the webcast.

You also grant to users of the Australian Songwriters Conference website a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access your copyrighted works via video playback of the webcast recording on the website. For clarity, this license does not grant any rights or permissions for a user to make use of your copyrighted works independent of the webcast or video playback.

INDEMNITY NOTICE
Where you submit your song/s to the Australian Songwriters Conference; your submission of a song (whether lyric, instrumental only, or music and lyrics) for critique by a representative or other contracted professional of the ASC constitutes your agreement to release, indemnify and hold harmless ASC and its owner, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from and against any claim, including without limitation, of copyright infringement or other misappropriation, arising from any acts or omissions in connection with your submission.

SONG PITCH, SONG CRITIQUE AND LISTENING SESSIONS
Where an ASC session includes song pitching, song critiquing or listening session; songs are heard in order of submission. Unless otherwise stated on the form, submission of a song does not guarantee there will be time during the session for it to be heard. Song registrations are voided if the registrant does not attend the session.  Specific to ASC Circle song critiquing sessions, where a registered attendee is present but the session time runs out before their song can be heard, the unheard songs may be placed at the top of that Circle's list for the next available song critiquing session.
