LA-based international songwriting teacher, Alan Roy Scott, will present a Song Surgery online session on Saturday, 2nd May at 1pm.

In the 90 minute virtual session being held on Zoom, Alan will ‘surgically enhance’ six songs presented by participants. These sessions are a must for every songwriter wanting to learn how to make their songs the best they can be.

Hosted by ASC, the popular “Song Surgery” sessions are well-known to attendees of the Australian Songwriters Conference where Alan offers detailed “live” evaluations. Participants play their song live to Alan, who then suggests revisions on-the-spot. Aimed at improving their existing songs, the Song Surgery sessions truly transform a song from “meh” to WOW!

ABOUT ALAN ROY SCOTT

Alan Roy Scott is an LA-based professional songwriter and international songwriting teacher with over 35 years of experience in the music industry. His songs have been recorded by Celine Dion, Luther Vandross, Notorious B.I.G., Gloria Estefan, Cyndi Lauper, Patti LaBelle, Neville Bros. Roberta Flack, Cher, El DeBarge, Tiffany, Patti Austin, The Spinners, Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Martin, Anne Murray, Johnny Mathis, Pointer Sisters, Sheena Easton, Ray Charles and more.

Alan has been a private songwriting coach for over ten years, and has taught classes and led workshops and seminars in the USA through the UCLA Extension, The Songwriting School of LA, Musician’s Institute, Songu.com and ASCAP.
