Ever thought about sharing your songwriting wisdom and experience with others? Here’s your chance!
Over the next couple of months, ASC Melbourne Circle participants will work together to write an article (or two) filled with our knowledge and understanding of the songwriting process, what its like to be a songwriter, overcoming the challenges of everything from writer’s block to navigating the complexities of the music industry – and we’ll share our recording, networking and marketing tips too.
This project is designed to help other songwriters, however, through this collaboration, we will also learn from each other as we share. ASC is all about supporting songwriters on their music journey, being part of a community that takes care of each other and encourages the sharing of knowledge and information.
The article/s will be sent out to the music industry press, relevant social media music sites/groups, and of course it will be added to the ASC website for visitors to enjoy.
You really do have experience and knowledge to share, so join us as we collaborate together on this special project.
The second half of the evening will be dedicated to peer song critiquing. If you have a song you would like some feedback on, you can play it live or play it on a device for the group. Bring 6-8 lyric sheets so everyone can write their notes and suggestions down to return to you for consideration.
Ongoing FREE entry for ASC Members, and non-members get FREE ENTRY for the their first two Circle meetings then $15 per meeting after that.
